SommerSamstag / SummerSaturday

I would not call that spring, but rather summer. We make the best of it and that means going out (what a surprise). There is a lot of green to nibble, but barely insects.
I planed a hike to the Mühlenbecker See for a bath!

I already saw them yesterday. A new Konik herd arrived. Yesterday I was still tired from the drive to Berlin and avoided the meeting. But nothing helps we will meet them more or less on a daily basis ...

That was the beginning of our hike. I really like to look at Moritz. He looks gorgeous for his 24 years (plus minus unknown). He is carrying a backpack from Barefoot and inside is my breakfast.

Before we reach the lake we have to cross a very muddy place. It was much broader, but it seems that it is getting deeper.

Ganz schwarzer Matsch
Very black mud

Schaut auf Moritz, er nimmt die 'Brücke'
Look at Moritz he is taking the 'bridge'

Modischer Point, Kontraste stehen ihm
Fashionable Point, contrast suits him

Dann endlich der See!
Finally the lake!

Moritz musste ich wie immer hineien schieben
As always I had to shove Moritz into the lake

Rolling together

What about Pepe? The little man is in his 'Spring Mood', means acting very much as a stallion. Now and then he attacks the other, for example while they rolle, but I'm starting to know how to handle in with foreknowlege so that we can be on the road in a harmonic way.

Der Anblick tut mir weh
Looking at it hurts me

The picture fits to a Website which Alexander indicated to me: Augemnted Nature Or in better words that fits to the feelings I had when I looked at the website. Also I learned a new word: Ecosystem Engineer.

  1. Pepes' little stallion squeal cracks me up every time, but see how the mares flock to the charming Moritz!
