Unter 30 / Under 30
Es ist heiß in Berlin, zu heiß. Und sehr oft über 30 Grad Celsius. In den Nächten kühlt es nicht mehr richitg ab und manchmal wenn der Himmel morgens bedeckt ist und die Windräder sich drehen, dann gehe ich für eine kurze Runde mit den Jungs raus. Aber oft brennt die Sonne ab 7.00 Uhr so stark, dass ich nichts mit ihnen unternehme.
It's hot in Berlin, too hot. Mostly over 30 degree Celsius. The nights are not really cooling down and sometimes when the sky is slightly covered with clouds and the wind turbines are spinning I go out for a short walk. But often the sun is already burning even at 7 o'clock in the morning and I don't go out.
Heute morgen war es aber anders! Nachdem nachts gefühlt ein heisser Wüstenwind durch unsere Wohnung zog, war es angenehm kühl, windig und der Himmerl stark bedeckt. Das war unser Startschuss!
This morning it was different! In the night I thought a hot desert storm blew through our flat and there was no hope anymore the morning was different. Comfortable, windy and lot's of clouds in the sky. That was our starting signal!
Nach ca. 3 km kommen wir zu unserer 'Snackmeile'. Hier trinke ich meinen Kaffee und meine Jungs dürfen grasen oder was sie sonst so machen.
After 3 km we arrive at our 'snackmile'. First stop where I drink my coffee and the boys can graze or whatever they decide for a snack.
Heute habe ich alle dabei beobachten können wie sie an Büschen und Bäumen knaberten. Deshalb nenne ich dieses Stück Snackmeile: Eine Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Bäumen und Büschen, verschiedene Gräser und Kräuter. So eine Art Frühstücksbuffet.
Today I was able to watch all three of them nibbling on bushes and trees. That's why I call this part snackmile: A range of different trees and bushes, different sorts of grasses and herbs. Kind of breakfeast buffet.
In diesem Teil von Deutschland ist es sehr trocken und irgendwie wird mir bei solchen Bildern mulmig. Gefühlt ist es Sommer seit April und tief in mir drinnen bin ich irritiert. Ich kann es nicht besser ausdrücken. Letzten Sommer hatten meine Ponys Milben weil es dauernd geregnet hat, diesen Sommer vertrocknet der Mais am Stengel ... Die Unterschiede sind gewaltig.
In this part of Germany it is very dry and when I look at pictures like this I feel uneasy. It's summer since April (at least feels like it) and deep inside I'm irritated. I don't find better words for it. Last summer my Pony's had mites because it always rained. This summer the corn drains on his stem ... The difference is huge.
Wir haben neue Wege entdeckt ich habe mich immer wieder an den Aussichten erfreut. Insgesamt waren wir 6 Stunden unterwegs und haben 17 km zurückgelegt. Ich war ausgehungert, meine Jungs nicht ... Ich bin jetzt etwas steif, ich glaube meine Jungs nicht ... Ich glaube ich habe alles richtig gemacht!
We discovered new trails and I enjoyed the view again and again. All in all we were on the track for 6 hours and covered 17 km. I was very hungry, my boys not ... I'm now slightly stiff, I thinks my boys don't ... I think I did all right!

Wir haben neue Wege entdeckt ich habe mich immer wieder an den Aussichten erfreut. Insgesamt waren wir 6 Stunden unterwegs und haben 17 km zurückgelegt. Ich war ausgehungert, meine Jungs nicht ... Ich bin jetzt etwas steif, ich glaube meine Jungs nicht ... Ich glaube ich habe alles richtig gemacht!
