Würde mein Schreiben Töne von sich geben dann würde man jetzt ein gackerndes Huhn hören das dabei ist ein Ei zu legen. Am schwersten fällt es mir über die Dinge zu reden auf die ich wirklich stolz bin. Und darauf bin ich stolz, so stolz das ich grinsen muss und vielleicht auch ein bißchen rot werde.

Für das Projekt SLAP gab es eine ausschlaggebende Situation, so erscheint es mir zumindest im Nachhinein. Alexander hat auf dem Ars Electronica Festival 2015 über den F015 gesprochen bzw. über das Thema 'Vertrauen zwischen Mensch und Maschine' und damals schon den Begriff 'informiertes Vertrauen' verwendet im Gegensatz zu 'blindem Vertrauen'. In der anschliessenden Fragerunde hat ein Teilnehmer gefragt, ob wir jetzt eine neue Sprache lernen müssten um uns mit den Maschinen verständigen zu können. Ich habe ihn emotional und aufgeregt im Gedächtnis. Diese Frage war es die mir nach ging und durch die ich in Gesprächen mit Alexander zu der Idee kam SLAP zu starten. Ich bin der Meinung das es einen intuitiven Ansatz geben muss. Meine Ponys schienen mir geeignet, da groß und schwer genug um ernst genommen zu werden. Aber nicht zu groß um Angst zu erzeugen. Zusätzlich sind Pferde seit hunderten von Jahren unsere Kulturbegleiter und sind durchweg positiv besetzt als Ausdruck von Schnelligkeit und Schönheit.

To start SLAP as aproject there was a crucial situation, at least it seems for me retrospectively. Alexander had a talk at the Ars Electronica Festival 2015 about the F015 or better about the topic 'Trust between Humans and Machines'. He talked about the terms 'informed trust vs. blind trust'. Afterwards in the round of questions there was one man who asked whether we now have to learn a new language to communicate with machines. In my memory he was emotional and nervous. It was this question which I couldn't forget and Alexander and I talked several times about it. And through this conversations came the idea up to start with SLAP. I think that there has to be an intuitive approach. My Pony's seemed big and heavy enough to be taken seriously. But not to big that people are afraid of them. Additionally horses accompany us in our cultural development over hundreds of years and their connotations is consistently positive as powerful and beauty.
