The metaphorical meaning of unsubstantial

Referring to my post yesterday, this morning I found a sight I created myself and it picture perfect how I feel when I say 'unsubstantial'.


When I build the first fence for the meadow I used this tree as a holdfast. It must be 6 to 7 years old.
That was my desperate feeling yesterday: kind of eaten up and maybe too late to escape or leave.
And none more so than for the feeling of being unsubstantial.

But it's Monday morning, the pain smoothed down; I did a very early run with the ponies in the cold air. The everyday life will catch me and I will let me catch. It will be Ok, sort of...
